This literature review was conducted for my Research Design course, and focuses on the overall impact the United States Incarceration System has on perinatal outcomes. Writing this literature review gave me an opportunity to research a topic and population I am currently investigating, as well as learning how to navigate databases for reputable research articles. This piece illustrates my ability to:
– find peer reviewed articles using research databases.
– evaluate data from different sources.
– compile scientific writing into a more understandable form.
