This program plan discusses how to reduce the overall prevalence of meningitis among freshman college students attending Athens Technical College in Athens-Clarke County. This was completed as a part of my Professional Program Planning course. This assignment allowed me to analyze educational intervention methods in order to demonstrate to students more preventative and hygienic health behaviors and why these behaviors help reduce the spread of meningitis. This program plan is comprehensible and clear, showcasing my ability to:
– assess evidence-based research.
– identify gaps or disparities in a population’s health.
– write in a professional, academic setting.
